Dr. Smithmyer is a Nationally Board-Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Prior to opening a private practice, she completed advanced degrees with the highly accredited Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and rigorous hospital-based clinical rotations with the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China.
Specializing in chronic and seemingly hopeless cases, Dr. Smithmyer has a specific interest in integrative case management.
She offers patient centered individualized care to deliver effective and reliable results. Treatment plans are custom tailored to the unique goals of each patient. It sparks great joy for Dr. Smithmyer to help her patients get back to living life to the fullest.
